Adult Beginners

This course is divided into 10 sessions on saturdays and runs 2 hours each day. You will be learning: A typical photography course for beginners would cover the following topics: 1. Introduction to the camera and its features: This includes understanding the different parts of the camera, the various modes, and settings available. 2. Exposure: This topic covers the basics of exposure, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and the relationship between these settings. 3. Composition: This is an essential topic in photography that covers the different techniques used to create visually appealing images. 4. Lighting: This topic covers the various lighting techniques used in photography, including natural light, artificial light, and flash photography. 5. Camera lenses: This topic covers the different types of lenses available, their features, and how to choose the right lens for different photography scenarios. 6. Image processing: This topic covers the different software used to process and edit images, we will be using Adobe Lightroom Adobe Photoshop. 7. Image storage: This topic covers the different methods of storing and organizing images, including cloud storage and physical media. 8. You will be shooting side by side with other students and photographer in studio setting and in natural setting. Course requirments: Student must have Digital Camera with lens, SD card 64GB or higher, 32GB Thumb Drive, Pen or pencil, notebook, home computer, laptop, or ipad. Times and dates to be announced. Cost covers Instruction, and Reading Material that you get to keep for future reference. Course cost: 650.00 Payment plan available. All Classes due to start this Summer of 2023. Ages 13- 17 Beginners

This course is divided into 10 sessions and runs 2 hours each day. Lab time included. Beginner photography classes for kids typically cover the same topics as those for adults, but the content and teaching methods are tailored to the needs and interests of children. Here is a course description for beginner photography classes for kids: Course Title: Introduction to Photography for Kids Course Description: This course is designed to introduce children to the basics of photography and camera operation. Through a series of fun and interactive lessons, kids will learn how to use a camera, compose a photograph, and make basic edits to their images. The goal of the course is to provide children with a solid foundation in photography and inspire them to explore their creativity through the lens of a camera. Course Content: 1. Camera Basics: Introduction to the camera and its various settings and functions. Kids will learn how to hold and operate a camera, adjust the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings, and use the camera's built-in features such as flash and zoom. 2. Composition: Introduction to the principles of composition including the rule of thirds, leading lines, and symmetry. Kids will practice composing photographs using these principles. 3. Lighting: Introduction to natural and artificial lighting and how to work with them to create different effects in their images. Kids will learn how to use flash and reflectors to control lighting. 4. Focus and Depth of Field: Introduction to focus and depth of field and how to use them to create different effects in their images. Kids will learn how to use autofocus and manual focus to control focus, and how to use aperture to control depth of field. 5. Post-Processing: Introduction to basic post-processing techniques to enhance and edit photographs using software like Adobe Lightroom. Kids will learn how to crop, adjust exposure, and remove blemishes from their images. 6. Types of Photography: Introduction to different types of photography such as landscape, portrait, and wildlife photography. Kids will learn about the different techniques and equipment used in each type of photography. 7. Ethics and Copyright: Introduction to the ethical considerations involved in photography, including respect for privacy and intellectual property rights. 8. Practice and Feedback: The importance of practice and receiving feedback on their photographs to improve their skills. Kids will have the opportunity to practice taking photographs and receive feedback from their instructor and peers. Course Requirements: No prior photography experience is necessary. Students will need access to a digital camera with manual controls. A smartphone camera may be used, but a point and shoot or digital camera is recommended for better control and image quality. Conclusion: By the end of the course, kids will have a solid foundation in photography and be able to take better photographs. They will have learned how to use a camera, compose a photograph, and make basic edits to their images. They will also have an understanding of the ethical considerations involved in photography and be inspired to explore their creativity through the lens of a camera. They will learn the skills to get their passion for photography started. Times and dates to be determined upon your child's schedule. Options, after school or weekend. Cost covers Instruction, and Reading Material that you get to keep for future reference, and lab time. Course cost: 650.00 Payment plan option available. Mentorship

As a photography mentor, I offer a program designed to provide personalized guidance and support to aspiring photographers who want to improve their skills and take their photography to the next level. The mentorship program will be tailored to the needs and goals of each individual participant, but some of the key components of the program include: 1. One-on-one sessions: The program will include regular one-on-one sessions with me as the mentor, either in person or online. During these sessions, we will discuss the participant's progress, review their work, and offer feedback and guidance on how to improve their skills. 2. Personalized assignments: Each participant will receive personalized assignments designed to help them improve their photography skills and achieve their goals. These assignments may include specific photography projects, exercises, or challenges that target areas of weakness or help the participant develop new techniques. 3. Portfolio review: Participants will receive a comprehensive review of their portfolio, with feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement. We will discuss the participant's photography style, their target audience, and how to create a cohesive and compelling portfolio. 4. Career advice: For participants interested in pursuing a career in photography, I will offer guidance on how to market themselves, build their brand, and find opportunities in the industry. This may include strategies for networking, creating a portfolio, and developing a personal brand. 5. Ongoing support: Participants will have ongoing access to me as a mentor, with opportunities to ask questions, get feedback on their work, and receive guidance and support as they continue to develop their skills. Overall, the photography mentorship program is designed to help participants become more confident, skilled, and creative photographers, with a focus on personalized guidance and support tailored to their unique needs and goals. Learn to build your own Photography business.

A course for students interested in starting their own photography business would typically cover the following topics: 1. Introduction to entrepreneurship: This topic covers the basics of entrepreneurship, including how to start and run a business, and the different types of business structures. 2. Business planning: This topic covers the importance of a solid business plan, including how to identify a target market. 3. Legal considerations: This topic covers the legal considerations associated with starting a photography business, including licensing, insurance, and contracts. 4. Marketing and branding: This topic covers the basics of marketing and branding, including how to create a brand identity, whhy you should look into developing a website, and use social media to promote the business. 5. Pricing and sales: This topic covers how to price photography services and products, how to manage sales, and how to negotiate with clients. 6. Workflow and organization: This topic covers how to develop an efficient and effective workflow, including how to organize files, manage post-processing, and deliver products to clients. 7. Client management: This topic covers how to manage clients, including how to communicate effectively, handle complaints, and build long-term relationships. The course would be designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to start and run a successful photography business. The course would include practical assignments, and opportunities for students to apply what they have learned to their own business ideas. The goal would be to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to start and grow their own photography business. This course will be available Spring of 2024.
