kevin okerlund resides in portland, oregon; where most of his shots are taken.  After a party at his house in 2005 he found a camera bag someone had left with an old Pentax K1000 and with a handful of lenses. When no-one showed up to claim the missing camera, he asked a friend to show him a couple of things and then began to experiment on his own.  After a few years of photographer friends admiring his work and encouraging him to pursue showing it, he did.

Kevin is in his element when he is crawling under some fence onto private property or sneaking into an off- limits industrial area. He tries to find beautiful pictures in not so beautiful parts of the city.
